This toy was given to my son who is 5 for Christmas. My daughters who are 8 & 9 also enjoy playing with these as much as my son does. It is a nice toy to have children use their imaginations and have a creative outlet. There are just enough pieces to build some structures and to not make a mess at the same time. I would recommend these to anyone looking to buy. They are well made and not flimsy. I would suggest getting a container or bag to put them in because it was hard trying to fit them back into the box they came in. I also had previously purchased a set of tubes with marbles for my son which was magnetic and even my older daughters and I had a hard time putting them together. We returned those and bought this set which works so much better.
I purchased this a Christmas gift for my 1 and 4 year old kids. They have not put this down since. My kids also have an 18-piece set of original MAGNA-TILE Magnetic Tile and this Jasonwell brand of tiles work with those as well. I’m so glad I did not spend over a hundred bucks to get the 60+ piece MAGNA-TILE set. Now the only thing I want to get is the light up table for them to play on.Definitely a great purchase!
It’s been a great start today as I’ve eaten breakfast & drank my coffee in peace. My 2.5 year old is loving these. His imagination is running wild as he says building a choo choo house
My son got a similar set of these as a gift and wanted more. These are literally the same and were probably a third of the price which is great. I’ll probably order a few more sets around the holidays as gifts.
I bought these for my 3 1/2 year old grandson and they have become his favorite, go to toy! (We now have a set at his house and mine!). He loves building with them and will spend hours creating all sorts of castles, houses and playgrounds. The magnets are strong, and they’re very colorful and sturdy, holding up to being knocked over and even stepped on. They’re great for outdoor play, too; adhering to metal garage doors; and can easily be packed up for travel, although they are a little heavy due to the magnets. (Note - the set I purchased did not come with any kind of bag or case, but don’t let that deter you from purchasing!) I would highly recommend these and anticipate we’ll be playing with ours for years to come. I can see adding to his set as he gets older and his building becomes more complex!
