Hi, I’m Daniela!
Welcome to Kids Crafts Corner, a carefully curated space of toys and children’s activities on a mission to take the guesswork out of buying developmentally and age-appropriate toys and games for kids ages 2 and up.
So why should you trust me? Good question!
Well, I began working with children over 20 years ago. I started off as the neighborhood babysitter and went on to become a dedicated summer camp counselor.
After earning my Bachelor's Degree in Developmental Psychology, I began my work as a behavior therapist for young kids with autism.
I also worked as an experienced preschool teacher. Throughout all this work, I found one thing to be very clear to me; I wholeheartedly believe in the important role free play has in learning.

I created Kid Crafts Corner to help inspire parents and teachers of young children to put their focus on free play rather than on academics. Yes, academics are important in the long run, but too much focus on this can backfire and learning can become a chore.
There are hundreds of studies today that highlight the benefits of play in the first 6 years of life. Kids don’t need worksheets! They will have plenty of that when they start school. What they need is their freedom to play!
This is why you’re here now, to inspire your children to find their own freedom in play. I know there are millions of toy companies fighting for your attention.
Here at Kid Crafts Corner, we are committed to doing the research and handpicking the toys and activities that your kids will love to play with and that will also support their overall development.

Our ultimate goal is to make sure every child has access to developmentally appropriate toys, games, and crafts, that’s why we’re donating 5% of the profits to the Toy Foundation.
